DESCRIPTION

 Here is a superb rare Chinese export armorial porcelain plate, made for the Scottish LINDSAY  family of WORMISTON HOUSE. Beautifully painted example. 
  George Lindsay married Margaret Bethune of Kilconquhar and died in 1764. The present Earl of Lindsay is descended from his younger brother, Patrick. See CAP Vol 1 by Howard, Page 496.
