Superb porcelain plate, with a monogram and crown, made for
Queen Elizabeth of Prussia.
Mid 19th Century.
Born Elisabeth Ludovika, she was the daughter of Maximillian I Joseph,
King of Bavaria (1856-1825). She had an identical twin sister, who became Queen 
Amalie of Saxony. Her sister was Archduchess Sophie of Austria.
Elisabeth married the future King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia in 1840.
